What are the consequenses for making a false police report against your boyfriend?

me and my boyfriend got in a fight, that night i told the cops about what had really happened few weeks ago and i added sum extras...but the bad thing is that he had a strike already and now they are trying to give him 20yrs wit a second strike if he is found guilty!!! i dont want this to happpen i never tought it was g2 end up this way..and i want to drop the charges ! i neeed heeelllppp!!!What are the consequenses for making a false police report against your boyfriend?
Well if you sent me to jail on a lie I would spend the entire time thinking of way to make you pay when i get out.

even if you try to drop the charges,The da will pick them up.This will be a domestic violence charge that will probably be dropped to a misdemeanor.If this is his second offense,then it may help if you go to court with him and talk with the da.He will probably end up with more probation and anger management classes which would be a good idea to get into BEFORE he goes back to court .Consult a councelor

You could go to jail well it depends on your age... If you are under 17 so you can say '; welll look im inmature i didn't know what tha hell i was doing plz apologize what i did i know i did wrong but i was scared!! '; so they might 4give u! but if your not pretend that u have some mentally problem! LOL nah 4 real this is my personal opinion i suggest to you to go to the police dept and tell them the true!! Why? Because if you don't do it there would be two things that might happen.





1- He can go to jail for 20 years and your life would be miserable.





2- He will demostrate his inocent and you would go to jail because u didn't say the true on time would be more worse 4 u!

You need to go to the police NOW and tell them you were lying. The sooner, the better. You will probably get some consequences but otherwise you'll be dealing with the GUILT that you are already feeling for doing such a nasty thing.
