If someone is making false police reports on you and threatening to do so to scare you all the time is this?

harrasment , or wrong? and can you have some kind of recourse to prevent them from damaging your reputation, I mean having 911 calls made about you that turn out to be not true pretty much when the police arrive is not exactly good for your back ground search I would imagine, nor is it good for your over all well being, and if the get your arrested, you could get in trouble , it would not be fair. It is actually a relative who I live with. And I have witnesses that what they are saying is false because they tried to do the same thing to them too. And we talked and we are all very upset, but no one knows what to do to protect ourselfs much? Does anyone have any insight on what may be a solution, or a way to prevent this and take some steps to recourse this? Sometimes we'll be at home and the person will start saying things like, you know im getting very angry and im about to snap because your doing 'insert imaginary false abusive or illegal act here' REAL SCARY!!! they go so far as to say they are suffering severe depression , we do not do anything except do our homework and stay away from them and they start this during our homework and they will scream and cry and act real depressed and blame us. What you do about a threat to file a false report is just remind the person that filing a false report is a crime for which they'll do jail time (if not prison time). Once. Then ignore it.

What you do if they actually do file a false report, and it's not thrown out, is hire an attorney.

In NO circumstances do you take action on your own - anything you do is likely to be illegal. If someone is making false police reports on you and threatening to do so to scare you all the time is this?
Are u teenagers? You can ask for help from counselors at school.
