an individual assaulted 2 handicapped people the assaulter was allowed to go to his apartment police was informed by us that the assault happened on 2nd floor police wrote report as assaulter was shoved into wall. when in fact wife was assaulted and I was shoved into wall knee hitting wall and falling backwards down stairs.Can lawsuits be filed against a city or police dept. for filing or making a false report ?
Yes you can. But you'll need a good lawyer with a ton of guts.
