disregard the above poster. it will NOT be on record for life (juvenile records normally get expunged after 18) and it depends on what info was given. some people get a citation
it really depends on the state you live in. call police non emergency or talk with a lawyer over the phone for free or ask an online q at a lawyers website

Police lie to you ALL the time. In fact, during interrogations, it is legal for them to lie to your face to get you to say something.

Those are serious allegations that waste precious police resources to investigate. Law Enforcement agencies take sexual assault against children very seriously.
If the minor has no previous record, the judge may sentence community service, probation and force the minor's parents or legal guardians to pay for the loss costs associated with the lie.
You most likely wont go to jail. It might go to probate court, maybe, but most likely nothing will happen. Depends if the prosecuting attorney is sitting on a corncob. The kid is so young though I bet any lawyer would argue that the kid does not know his own mind at that age and the charges would be dropped.
i do not think she will go to jail, but i am not a law expert, but i do know that false rape and kidnapping reports are taken extremely seriously although i do not know the motives for the accusation, but they may just make her see a psychiatrist
I donno if you'd actually go to jail, but you'd be in very very big trouble. It also probably depends what your record is like. Also the person you said did it could maybe sue your family??? not sure but this sounds like a dumb idea, i wouldn't do it.
probably get in some kind of trouble. probably not more than 6 months in jail if the person fesses up now. if someone gets affected badly because of the report probably more. who ever it is should admitt before its too late.
If found to be false she is in DEEP trouble...jail...likely not but long term probation and a violation gets her sent to Juvie...and if her lie cost someone else like she directed at a peerson her parents can lose it all in a law suit

I don't know why any girl would be in that situation, but no. Minors under 18 cannot go to jail. She will most likely not go to juvenile but if she does ANYTHING more...yeah, definitely.
She can only go the juvenile hall but I think she would get special mental classes instead unless there were other reasons.
