How to stop false noise reports?

A neighbour is constantly making false noise reports to the police about us. We work out in our home gym 2-3 times a week for maybe and hour. Yes we have the cd on but it isn't loud...even the police say so. We have asked all the neighbours if we are somehow causing a problem and they all say ';no';. Get this.. we work out between 5-6 or 6-7pm. Dead set what loser makes a noise report for that time. If we were noisy then fair enough but we are responsible ';good neighbour'; type people. Of course we can't be told who is reporting us..how unfair is that...hide behind anonymity by making false reports.

God forbid we have a party........are we meant to sit around and talk in sign language and listen to Marcel Marceau?

What sort of spiteful person does this? We are working hard to make our house and yard look nice..and doing it ourselves. Do you seriuosly think they could be jealous because we are improving our yard while most of the others don't do anything? Am considering counter-charges against complainers...oh that's right we can't know who they are...must charge the scanner up! Any tips appreciatedHow to stop false noise reports?
Get a copy of each incident report. Every time an officer responds to confirm you're not violating any ordinance, show him or her all the false complaints.

Police don't like to be used to harass others. Most likely, an intimidating officer will eventually convince him or her to stop.

You can always take your stack (I'd say at ten, twenty, etc.) to the district attorney, and express your concern that these numerous false reports are taking valuable life-saving time away from law enforcement.

Good luck. How to stop false noise reports?
Aw, thanx! And you're welcome. Yeah, it takes a bit with different officers responding every time, but they will catch on. :) Hope it works out soon for ya. Best wishes.

Thanx for BA! :)

The best I can tell you is to be pleasant and cooperative and fully truthful with the police. After a few such incidents, ask them if there is something that they can do. Maybe they can talk to the person complaining, and tell them about the penalty for filing false complaints, or for distracting the police from other, more serious issues with frivolous complaints.

Good luck!
An eye for an eye. If you are honestly not deserving the complaint. Call the police on them on the days that you are not working out and tell them that it was the television.
Other than sitting down and talking with them, all you have is the police reports that they find nothing wrong when they arrive
I use earbuds while I work out. Just a thought.
Unfortunately you can't counter-charge, because you don't know who it is.

There are always total sad loser idiots in this world that get a bit of a ';kick'; from TRYING to make others unhappy or to look bad or to look stupid etc etc etc. They are usually sad people with nothing in their lives - nothing to occupy there lonesome, empty minds, and so over a long period of time, they develop into a mind-set where the only ';kick'; they get, or a feeling of some kind of power or thrill or happinness (but it's not really happiness), is by making someone else suffer.

The best thing to do is ignore the complaints and carry on. That way they are only TRYING to make your life worse, but they are failing!! haha!

If it carries on and gets worse, the police will simply asl other close nieghbours if they are being disturbed and can hear anything, and as you have said, these neighbours will tell the police ';no, nothing at all - no noise, no disturbances and they are good people that DO consider others';. Then what will happen? The police will say to the sad loser ';You seem to be the only one complaining sir. I can only assume that you have a gridge against them and are making false claims. This is a serious matter sir, because it is wasting police time, which carries punishment. I would advise you to not complain unless you can prove there is a complaint. Video recording for example';.
