How can I report persons claiming false dependents without releasing my personal information?

Contact IRS fraud department; or just send a letter with as much detail as you are aware. The only problem with this is that you will not know if they have been contacted. You can tell IRS you want to remain anonymous because they will probably need more information than you provide and will need to be sure you're not just some nut writingHow can I report persons claiming false dependents without releasing my personal information?

  • What should be done about report monkeys who bear false witness to others on R & S?

Why do they have such power to harm others who wish them no ill will? What should be done about report monkeys who bear false witness to others on R %26amp; S?
I know. Some atheist reported me 8 times in 1 day. Y/A saw the light and gave me back my points.

Or were you just trying to bad mouth the religious? What should be done about report monkeys who bear false witness to others on R %26amp; S?
It is far too easy for reporters to remove people who's opinions they do not like. When someone is continually attacked and reported we all lose. The community just gets uglier and uglier. I may not agree with your point of view, but I also choose to live and let live on R %26amp; S....

It is a sad day when so many people who have been regular contributors on R %26amp; S have left because of these individuals. It seems that the reporters have more power than those who want to have fun and post.

Most of the reports are done strictly for malicious reasons and not for valid reasons. It has to stop.
They will go to a special kind of hell where all there actions are monitored and reported to Satan, they will get reported to Satan even if they don't do anything
@OLI: The only one I see referring to any religious impetus is you.

If a police officer makes false statements on a police report, is it possible to get his report dismissed?

Any help would be helpful here. I don't have enough money to hire an attorney, and I hear court appointed attorney's don't really offer much help. So can the report be dismissed for making false statements, and if so would you know any of the court cases were this actually happened? If a police officer makes false statements on a police report, is it possible to get his report dismissed?
If you have some sort of proof, then MAYBE. Merely saying the statement is false, is not proof. They know you thinks it false, thats why you plead not guilty. You would need some irrefutable proof that the statements made by the officer where false, and not clerical error false, knowingly perjury false. Then the charges MIGHT be dismissed, depending on the other evidence and nature of charges.

Having the report dismissed may be irrelevant, anyway. All a report is is the statement of what happened. They may have other evidence that links you to whatever the charge is.If a police officer makes false statements on a police report, is it possible to get his report dismissed?
Reports are not stand alone items that are used as evidence.

Reports are nothing more than an officer's records of the event. The statements on the report mean nothing in court as the officer would have take the stand to testify. It's at that point that an attorney would ask questions of the officer and show that his testimony contradicts his report. If his testimony is a lie, it would be up to your attorney to ferret that out and prove he is making false statements in his testimony.

So in short, the report is only there to give the DA a recap of the events that took place.

And for those that think we lie, get real. If any officer was ever caught perjuring himself in court, their career would be over right then and there. No testimony would ever go without be scrutinized and questioned again, and no jury would ever believe you again. We have no reason to lie. If the scumbag gets away with it, so what? He's a scumbag, we'll get him later on another crime.
By the way research has shown the thetre is no significance difference between private attorneys and public defenders so if your case is not a big one I would not borther about hiring a attorney.

As for the false report, tell the public defender about it or just file a complaint with the police department. Internal Affairs would investigate.

Among Police Officers there is a saying '; You Lie, You Die';, meaning if you lie on the job the department will fire you

because if that same officer was to testify in court and the defense attorney finds out about his lie, his testimony will be thrown out.

    Roy
It depends on the error on the police report. If it makes the situation void, it would be dismissed, but it's your word against his, and likely the court is going to side with the officer. If he simply made a clerical error or forgot to write something down, hey, we are all human, and it would be thought of as such.
I doubt it. Most police officers are trained on how to ';Testilie'; instead of ';Testify';. It makes convictions much easier for them to obtain in court.

They know what they are doing and are very good at it.

A employee made a false pay check report to falseify on car loan application how much trouble can he get in?

It is fraud at the very least, and you not reporting him are an accessory to that fraud and any other charges to the degree you do not report it.A employee made a false pay check report to falseify on car loan application how much trouble can he get in?
You must have him reported immediately. Not only did he take a false loan he also hacked your computer to change data. Oh, he is in big trouble, this can even be a police case because taking a loan is not as easy as taking three pounds.

What could I do against a false claim/report?

My neighbor listens music really loud between 0:00-2:00 a.m. almost every day; I first directly asked the neighbor to turn down the music, but he did not, so I called police. But after the offiers had left, he called a police, lying them I was making a noise. (I live quietly, and do not even have any audio equipments or TV).

I would truly appreciate if you would tell me what I could do against his false claim; because I do not want police to have any bad records on me.

Thank you so much for your time and help! What could I do against a false claim/report?
    Dear AA

All you have to do is talk to the Police and they will listen. Call and explain that they are calling on you and they will investigate. They can assist you. Good Luck. What could I do against a false claim/report?
I am going to guess they know your neighbor feeding them a line of BS.

Keep a written and possibly video record of your complaints. Keep complaining.
The best thing you could do is have multiple complaints against this person from different sources and different times. Meaning if several of your neighbors start complaining on different days and get these reports on file, the police will quickly figure that your neighbor is the problem, not you, and that his call was retaliation against you.
Did the police come and investigate you - if not, then they didn't feel that it was worth their time investigating. Are their other neighbors that are also bothered by his music? If they are, I would talk with them about also calling the police to file a complaint.
Don't worry about it. Obviously the police found no validity to your neighbor's complaint and wouldn't have written a report. Also, most cops would put two and two together and realize that your neighbor's call was ';payback'; for your complaint. A noise complaint doesn't give you a bad reputation with police. They deal with these things every night, and trust me, your neighbor looks like the idiot, not you.
    JOIN NEW AMERICA(IM SERIOUS)
Did the police issue a ticket? If so, there should be a court date. At the court date, hopefully the officer will be present and will testify truthfully that he/she did not hear any loud noises. See if you can get a copy of the claim you made against the neighbor previous to the claim being made against you. Submit your claim as circumstantial evidence that your neighbor retaliated against you for turning your neighbor in.

Could I report a restaurant for false advertising Halal meat?

A restaurant I know has advertised that all their meat is Halal, but its not and its not even cooked on a separate grill, so it would cross contaminate in that case. Could I report this restaurant and what would happen?Could I report a restaurant for false advertising Halal meat?
You would have to prove it. They would go down and give them a stern warning but that is all..I've heard of rat infested places not getting closed down.Could I report a restaurant for false advertising Halal meat?
    yes u should...........
Yes you can and it is illegal, you can report it to trading standards, the local health authority and the Muslim version of the beth din (jewish kosher cops)
    Report them for what?

Not using meat that was slaughtered in a barbaric manner.

Cooking their cruelty free meat on the same grill as the halal meat you say they don't sell, there by ';contaminating'; it. What with, civilisation?

Halal meat should be illegal anyway.

The only people who'll be even slightly interested in your complaint are the religious weirdos who couldn't pass a basic food hygiene test.

There's nothing wrong with meat that was produced humanely, the problem is with people who believe in torturing animals to please some god who doesn't exist.
Yes, and I would do so.

As a non Muslim it is of no real concern to me but if the restaurant is in fact serving haraam. This is a serious issue and must be addressed.
yes, report them to health and safety. They'll end up getting shut down, or stop false advertising. Also ask your local council/counciller for help. Trading standards is also another place you can go to.
Maybe they clean the grill frequently? Perhaps the reason they only use one grill because buying a separate one for a particular kind of meat would cause a disproportionate burden on their overall costs. If you did bring a case, however, it would be up to the shop owner to prove that their meat meets the standards required by health authorities and the food and drug administration to be legally sold as halal meat.
You can certainly report them to the appropriate certification organization, they will act to stop the practice (pretty quickly too).
    hjf
Yes, false advertising is illegal, so you could report them. They would be investigated, and were they to be found guilty not only could they be in trouble from the advertising/food standards people, but people who can only eat halal and ate the meat thinking it was halal meat could sue. Something similar happened in India a few years back - because Hindus don't eat meat, mcdonald's said they didn't use meat in their products. Then it turned out they were using meat products in the fat fryers etc. or something, and they got sued massively. Could be rather damaging, even without the legal implications of falsely advertising halal meat.

A company has reported I owe a false amount to a collection company, what can I do to have it removed?

I owed an apartment 1,257, I;ve paid 1,100 of it. They were right to send $157 to the collections company, they actually reported the entire 1,257 to collections. This affects my credit as well as my fathers as he co-signed for me. What can I do to clear this up?A company has reported I owe a false amount to a collection company, what can I do to have it removed?
You need to contact the apartment owner and tell them to mark the 1100 as payed, by law they must do this. Perhaps the full amount was owing when first lodged with the collection agency.

Edit: Pay the 157 as soon as you can.A company has reported I owe a false amount to a collection company, what can I do to have it removed?
Dispute it by writing a letter and keep copies. Show proof of payment. Here are some sample letters to write:

    http://www.creditinfocenter.com/forms/

    Good luck.
You have to file a dispute with the credit reporting agency.
Tell them to send written proof you owe the debt.

Be very sure to keep a copy of the checks you sent to pay the debt.

Then send a copy of the checks and any other documentation to the collections company. They'll probably ignore the evidence and continue to hound you. Then you get to sue them in small claims court under the Fair Debt Collections act.
