I would guess, since she didn't accuse a real person, nothing would happen. Had she accused a real person, she would probably be (or should be) in some sort of trouble.What happens if a minor files a false rape report?
She'll probably go to prison for a while, and rightfully so. Hopefully she'll also be fined to pay something towards the man hours she has wasted. Going to a therapist wouldn't excuse her actions in the slightest, but she should do that anyway for her own sake, not to try and get out of a punishment that she deserves. If people can do stuff like that and then think it's okay because they are a bit crazy, then it won't help their sanity in the slightest. It just means she's likely to do something similar again.
Filing a false police report is a crime regardless of rather or not the person was real. She will probably have a criminal record, do some community service, maybe some time in juvi.
All in all, it was a STUPID thing to do.
i'd suggest getting her a therapist.
at least that will excuse her actions.
seriously though, that's f***ed up.
