What recouse does a person have when a person make a false police report about you and it's proven?

I have 19 years in recovery (AA) and i work on H%26amp;I panels a false report was made against me making me a suspect in a crime now I can't get a clearance to go in the jails? What recouse does a person have when a person make a false police report about you and it's proven?
This is a long shot because I know little of your situational specifics

It sounds like there was an 脙聽ligation made but you have not been criminally convicted of anything in that case if the matter goes to trial make sure to work a good case with a good attorney and that should clear you

If the matter simply gets dropped you may be able to get a written statement saying that the DA is not pursuing a case so legally an offense was not committed

Also your bureau of prisons may be helpful in finding out if there is a way to appeal your denial

More details on your case are needed for a better answer

Anyone can file a police report against anyone, it's very easy to do. If the person's comments we found to be false, they get charged with filing a false police report. If you weren't charged or a person of interest, then you can get your job reinstated. You can also file suit against the person for slander if it resulted in you losing that job.

You can speak to the police about the charges and see if it's off your record. If you need to pursue it, you will have to get a lawyer.
A police report is basically a COMPLAINT. Call the department that filled out that report and file a supplemental report telling your side of the story as well. The only way that COMPLAINT will be proven is in a court of LAW. File your supplemental report and speak with the person that overseas the jail. Explain to them the situation. The only way it can be held against you is if you are found guilty in a court of law.
report them get a lawyer and clear it out.
huh ???
