Unfortunately being over the age of 18 she'll be tried as an adult and instead of getting counseling for the real problems she has she'll probably be hit with a fine and some community service time as well as being forced to attend reeducation classes for what some will perceive as a ';hate crime';. So what do you think will happen to the young girl who made a false report of an attack to the police?
If it's a first offense, she will probably get probation or a suspended sentence. I don't think she should go to jail, but she should be shown that this is not acceptable behavior. From what I have heard there is some possibility that she is mentally unbalanced, and that would be an extenuating circumstance.So what do you think will happen to the young girl who made a false report of an attack to the police?
she will get a drug test, therapy and possibly get jail time or have to perform community service.
She just did it to get attention but now she will be in trouble for false reporting
She'll be charged with falsifying a police report.
