How do you stop someone from making false police reports about you?

My daughter's father is making false police reports about my daughter being ';in danger'; and the police keep coming to my house to do ';well baby checks';.How do you stop someone from making false police reports about you?
He is just jealous and as a father he has the right to make sure his daughter is in a safe place. As long as you aren't being harrased or thrown in jail,just keep letting them see how great the home is that you are providing for the child.Eventually they will stop because they will see their is no risk there.How do you stop someone from making false police reports about you?

... charge them w/ making a faulse police report, charge them with harrasment. this said this WILL absolutly escalate the problem. make an effoft to speak with this man. BE CALM, BE TRUELY POLITE , DONT LET THE CONVERSATION WONDER, and explain to him how this is effecting you AND your daughter. keep it SHORT , keep it sweat, DONT start talking about other issues[ i'm sure there are other issues].. just say something like ,'; hi, jim[???], i just wanted to let you know this is how your actions are effecting our daughter and me.[ let him get in a short explanation, DONT GET INTO A DEBATE HERE, DONT], and finish w/'; i just thought you would like to know, so you may cosider stopping it';';by , stay well'; hang up.... do this buy telephone and tape record the conversation...
Let someone of authority know someone is making false reports about whom it soncerns
You should contact the police agency in which this person is reporting to. Make sure that it is a false statement. If it is, this person will be arrested on those grounds.
