Why isnt YA! doing anything to put an end to false reports?

I bet over 1000 people have suggested getting a better report system, but all the people who are in the forum just go around telling us to be more careful. have they not learned that the reporting system we have now is not working. Why isnt YA! doing anything to put an end to false reports?
It never has worked right.

When trolls carry more weight than I do, when no human looks at the violation report before sending it throug, when the staff knows you are guilty and will deny your appeal out of hand, the system is completely messed upWhy isnt YA! doing anything to put an end to false reports?
Knowing that the current system is flawed doesn't automatically produce a better system. Knowing how the system could work better doesn't automatically make it better -- software engineers have to write code to implement it.

In case you haven't noticed, Yahoo isn't rolling in money these days. Yahoo Answers is a free service for users like you and me, yet maintenance and improvements to the site cost money. I wouldn't expect to see revolutionary improvements unless it will help Yahoo's bottom line, regardless of how many people complain.

I'm sure this situation is frustrating for everyone -- the developers and maintainers, as well as the people that complain about this free service.
It really doesn't pay to ask in forum. Some there are quick to judge and say it had to be something the asker did because Yahoo supposedly gives a crap. Sorry. Yahoo does not care and never will. The ones who praise Yahoo's reporting system are a brick short of a full load and really think they are better than the normal people here.

I know the reporting system sucks, trolls and stalkers own this site and it will probably never get better.

I don't believe this site will last.
Obviously you misunderstand - the Net is one giant False Report. That's why it's all so fun. It's all crap. Now wave your hands in the air - just like you don't care!
