Is there any other thrill about being a cop besides writing false reports on juvenile's?

I'm sure having someone shoot at you for trying to stop a robbery or assault is high on the list.





Not all police are good guys and not all police are bad guys. Most of them are just trying to do a job that has more aggravation than it's worth.Is there any other thrill about being a cop besides writing false reports on juvenile's?

you must be a kid that got caught done something wrong and the police caught you. The police are around to protect people and I don't think they all just sit around eating donuts waiting to write you a ticket for something you didn't do.

Actually as a retired cop, that was pretty low on my list of fun things to do. It was more fun catching some pervert who tried to rape a seven year old child. You can hate all the cops you like, and probably will, until you need one.
Actually, it is a big thrill getting in a high-speed chase with a carload of juveniles that thought stealing a car and going for a ride was fun, especially when it endangers the lives of other motorists or pedestrians in the area. This thrill is almost as big as the one I get when I catch them and get to lock them up in a juvenile detention facility until they turn 21.


Unfortunately, it is NO thrill telling their parents that they were killed in a car crash while running from the police in a stolen car.
