I need help.......recently my x girlfriend has been making false reports to the police about me?

she said that i stole about 1 thousand dollars from her, and she not too long ago brought two cars and illegally forged my name as co-signer and i know she wont even keep up with the bills because she has no job.....i have proof that none of this **** happened but what can I do to get her to jail? i dont know i dont want to stoop to her level but this **** needs to stop....can anyone help meI need help.......recently my x girlfriend has been making false reports to the police about me?
I would contact the police, and file a report. It's a shame that she is trying to get you in trouble... Is she taking you to court over any of this? If so, you need an attorney. Just because you have done nothing wrong, does not mean she will automatically lose.

File a police report; forgery is pretty easy top prove for the police they got expert and is a fool proof science.





File a police report. If you don't then don't blame anyone if your life get worst.
The police won't do s**t about this. It is a civil matter. They may take a report but don't expect any results. I know, I was a cop for 5 years. This kind of thing goes into the shredder after the report is taken. The report, if it is taken at all, is done only to make you feel like your tax money is going to a good cause. Trust me, the cops won't do a damn thing about it.





You need to file a criminal suit yourself. The police are worthless unless there is a murder or rape or some other major crime.





Of course you have proof. You have the contracts for the vehicles that you can get from the finance company. You file a criminal action suit stating that she forged your name and attach the contracts with your forged signature as exhibits ';A'; and ';B';. If she is very good at forging your signature and it is very similar to your own as you write it you can get an independent expert to verify that it is indeed not your handwriting based on forensic evidence. There are people who specialize in this field.





If it comes down to it the auto salesperson can be subpoenaed to show up and testify that you were not present when the contract was signed or that they did not see you sign it in their presence.





As far as jail goes that is up to the judge, but forgery on that level would qualify as grand larceny, which is a felony. If she bought 2 cars she has 2 counts against her. She could also be charged with forgery and identity theft.





As for the claim that you stole 1K from her that is up to her to prove.

If she has been reporting you to the police, then the police will have the record. Go to the police or when they find you, show them your ';evidence'; that the accusations didn't occur. I do believe that by faking numerous reports to the police is actually an offence. And you can let the police know that this ex of yours has been forging your signature etc, and see what they can help you with.
It is unfortunately a Civil matter. Law was originally and, still somewhat supposed to be based upon the 10 commandments... Its too bad in America there is no enforcement of the ';thou shalt not bear false witness';. I remember in the 80's every divorce ended with the father being accused of molestation. some would even do time, while the gal got the house, kids, her new guy....When the innocent victim finally gets out (after it was proven to be a false accusation), he is still stigmatized, broke, homeless, jobless, and with a huge child support debt, which further suffocates his chances to be a good father as his children are constantly told he's a deadbeat loser dad. There was a time when you would have to pay damages tenfold for this crime....if you didn't have the money, or (10 oxen), you would give your firstborn into slavery for some period, if you had no child they would cut out your tongue. but nowadays you can say whatever you want about whoever you want, destroying their lives, and if it was proven untrue.....';ohh well I guess I was wrong'; they say and go on to smearing any other people who didn't give give give to them.
