My husband is in jail since last night because of me. I called the cops on him for domestic violence but all i want is to make a report not him ended up in jail.
Now im thinking of goin back to san diego police and tell them i lied and filed a false report. what would be the charges? will i be in jail? for how long? or do i have to the community service? or pay?

It is common for an abused person to later want charges dismissed. It is also common for the abuse to get worse if the person is not held accountable. Abusers also frequently pressure their victims into dropping charges.
For these reasons, they will continue to prosecute regardless of what you do.
As far as changing your statement, that will not help. Studies show lies have to be created, but the truth comes easy. For this reason, your initial statement given will be given more credibility.
Most likely a fine. However, keep in mind, the next time your husband beats you and almost kills you, the police won't believe you because you lied the last time.
